Cheryl has a passion for protecting children and supporting families. Over 3 decades, she has worked in a variety of roles in child protection and early childhood education. Cheryl’s knowledge and experience is the foundation on which she provides offers professional development and consultation to early childhood professional and other community organizations. She stays current on research, best practices and minimum standards that guide early learning and care providers.
Cheryl has a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Texas State University (SWTSU). She is a Child Care Health Consultant and a Level 3 Trainer on the Texas Trainer Registry #1947. Cheryl is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
